The Placerita Water and Power is a dormant 120 MWe combined heat and power plant in Santa Clarita. Designed in the 80’s and opened in 1988, this property offers many different vantages. Dirt roads, dry river beds and wood suspension bridge mark the exterior. Large double doors open to the corrugated warehouses that hold the massive pipes, generators, and batteries in the interior of this large facility. Feels remote and ominous.
